About Practical Publishing
We're based near Macclesfield in northwest England. We've been producing high-quality craft magazines since 2004.
We currently produce four regular magazines in the UK: Simply Cards & Papercraft, Papercraft Essentials, Complete Cardmaking and Scrapbook Magazine. These are available in all good newsagents, leading supermarket chains and directly from us through this website.
We've also produced a number of one-off books and craft kits.
Our titles are exported around the world, and we have thousand of readers and subscribers in all corners of the planet. In 2006 we also launched an Australian Edition of Simply Cards & Papercraft, called Simply Cards Magazine.
Crafts on the Net
We've had a website since we began, but in summer 2007 we renamed it Crafts on the Net, to reflect that it brings our magazines, a friendly forum, reader project gallery, online shop and more. During 2008 we'll be continuing to develop this site, and we've got a number of exciting online projects in the pipeline — so watch this space!
