Issue 5 of Creative Cardmaking is on sale from Friday 19th June and comes complete with FREE Craftwork Cards papers and vellums worth over £6, plus chances to win prizes worth more than £800.
The sun is shining gloriously down on us, confirming that summertime has well and truly arrived! It seems fitting therefore that this issue has so many bright and cheery cards spread across the pages, and there’s nothing more summery than Di Grimshaw’s beach-themed party invites on page 44.
The free gift this issue carries on with the summery theme. The people at Craftwork Cards are spoiling us, with a selection of Sorbet Souffle background papers, tags, greetings and images. Julie Hickey shows us some great quick and easy ways to use the papers on page 12, then Debbie Pincher continues on page 16 with some more in-depth projects including shaped and concertina cards.
Our technique of the month is creating felt embellishments. Rachel Burgess creates a number of summer-themed examples on page 39, then incorporates them into her cardmaking. The ‘How to use’ section is using the Claudine Hellmuth Studio Line and Dyan Reaveley from Art From The Heart guides us through the techniques needed to create stunning results on page 55.
As always we have a great selection of cards created by craft stores, starting with a card to brighten someone’s day on page 21 and ending with a cute party invite on page 73.

Hello Barbara
You can contact our subscriptions department by email at subscriptionenquiries@practicalpublishing.co.uk or alternatively phone them on 0844 561 1203. They will be able to confirm which issue your subscription is due to start from.
Kind regards

If people are missing Creative Cardmaking and just want the papers, you can buy Scrapbook Magazine instead by the same publisher, which are also supplying the same papers as a freebie, although not the projects or vellums. I got the papers from the second issue of C.C. with the last S.M. issue…
Thank you so much for picking my card to be one of the winners in the cute companions competition. I cant wait to recieve the wonderful prize.Thank you also for a great magazine
Just to let locals know, if you have been disappointed in the past because you could not get C. C. magazine from The Paper Mill Shop in the Metrocentre (in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear) then you will be pleased to know they are stocking it now. I had given up when by chance someone told me they were selling Issue 5, which I bought. It really is a fantastic magazine, full of quality, thick, A4 size non-glossy papers plus some vellum, with lots of great project ideas. Highly recommended.
Anyone know when the next issue is due
I am finding it impossible to find your magazine.I have visited craft shops that you say sell the mag but they have not had them. I dont want to subscribe as I wont want every one.

help ,how do I get my email address from the screen it has been there for days in the leave a comment box.
Elizabeth: issue 6 is out on Friday 24th July.
Jean: don’t worry – you can see your email address, but nobody else can. Your web browser is probably trying to make your life easier by automatically filling it in on your screen, but we don’t show commenter’s email addresses on the site.
I live in Australia and have just started cardmaking and scrapping I saw your issue 4 in a magazine and would love to have this issue is there any way I could purchase one over there and have it sent to me. I have been unable to get any information from the craft shops that I have in Tasmania. Please help, I would really like this magazine. Many thanks Susan
