Issue 8 is on sale from 25th September and comes with FREE Easter Promise Christmas papers and vellums worth over £5.
We’re now into the full swing of our Christmas cardmaking, so if you are looking for great ideas on how to make extra-special cards for family and friends, look no further!
In store for you this issue is a complete festive feast from start to finish, including Judith Hannington’s interpretation of the 12 days of Christmas starting on page 67.
One of our favourite cards this month (it’s so hard to choose an absolute favourite as there are just so many) is Jacqui Eccleson’s A Christma Gift on page 61. FIMO is a fabulous medium and Jacqui uses it to great effect.
We’ve been busy making pop-up cards this month using the adorable new Mr Men Christmas range, and you can see examples in the monthly technique feature on page 39. If stamping is more up your street then Claire Hampton shows us the versatility of a Christmas Collage stamp on page 35. Meanwhile, the craft shops have come up trumps again with their selection of contemporary Christmas cards, starting with a fun Rudolph card on page 22.
The free papers this month have a contemporary style to them with colours including hot pinks, purples and blues that remind you of the Far East. There are background papers, toppers, borders, greetings and beautiful imagery to inspire your festive cardmaking. For a great selection of examples of how to use your free papers, turn to pages 12 and 16.

Hi from Australia,
Just wanted to say to say that I love the magazines so far. They are of excellent quality as are the papers. Some of my friends have also considered subscribing. I was wondering how I can order issue 7 and 8 and the winter special, as they were not available as back orders on the website. My subscription starts at issue 9, so I would like to get the previous mags (too good to miss issues!). Again, thanks for one of the best crafting mags to hit the market in a long time.
Pup Neely.
As with my other comment about the special edition, they have Issue 8 now in the Metrocentre (Gateshead) at The Paper Mill Shop.
I missed issues 3 and 4, but still have papers left from issue 1. I would be willing to swap issue 1 papers with anyone willing to give me some papers from issue 3 or 4…
Ok, I gather no one’s interested then…
Dear D.Siddle
If you look on our web site you can order issues 3 and 4 on back issues. Hope this helps you or other wise give me a call on my direct line 01625 855004…and I will be pleased to help you.
hi can you tell me when issue 9 will be in craft shops please
Yes, I know you can order back issues of 3 and 4. I wasn’t addressing you. I was addressing anyone who just wanted a paper swap. No matter though, as I’ve swapped them elsewhere.
on looking up your suppliers i dont see whsmith . As that is likely to be the only place i could purchase mag. can you tell me if whsmith do actually stock it
Creative Cardmaking isn’t stocked in WHSmiths, it’s only stocked in craft stores. Our other titles are all available in WHSmith, but with Creative Cardmaking we’re trying to support craft stores by providing them with a title which is only available from them.
