Scrapbook Layout Submission Guide

Ensure your layout is an original design and not produced in a class or copied from another publication or website. It must not have been published previously, or resubmitted to another publication upon agreement to appear in Scrapbook Magazine.

Send a jpeg file of your layout, no more than 1MB in size, to: lindsey.hopkins@practicalpublishing.co.uk. Please allow two months for a reply. We will advise you if your layout is being considered for publication. Please do not send your original layout prior to being contacted, or as a means of initial submission. Digital layouts can also be submitted.

If you are successful in your submission, your original layout will be requested for photography. Please send the original layout and include details of your name, postal address, phone number and email. No colour photocopies should be submitted, as we are unable to photograph and publish these. Package your layout between two sturdy sheets of 12x12" cardboard and wrap them in an airtight bag. Please post your layout by registered delivery so that it may be tracked.

Your layout will be kept at the Practical Publishing office until the issue featuring your artwork is on sale, at which time the layout will be returned. Please allow up to 10 weeks for this process. Your layout will then be returned to you by recorded delivery.

To thank you for submitting your work to Scrapbook Magazine, we will send you a complimentary copy of the issue in which your layout features.

Practical Publishing International Ltd reserves the right to reproduce your layout in accordance with the copyright stipulations printed in the magazine.
