Buying Administrator

If you are an experienced administrator, who is highly organised and proficient in Excel then this is the job for you!

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Buying Administrator, you will support the ecommerce Buyers in all aspects of onboarding new products, raise purchase orders, liaise with suppliers and manage all administrative tasks for the department.

Main duties will be:

  • To ensure that the buying team is responding to new product announcements & launches in a timely fashion
  • To update the ecommerce campaign plan with new launch details
  • To create purchase orders for new launches
  • To liaise with suppliers to secure all onboarding assets for buyers and merchandisers
  • To work with cross-departmental functions to communicate all relevant new launch details
  • To be a guardian of product data quality
  • To oversee routine system & buying reporting to maximise efficiencies
  • To work with the customer service team in the answering & effective solution of product listing queries
  • To create bundles for revenue maximisation
  • To assist with trading tasks linked to product optimisation
  • To maintain high standards of visual merchandising across all ecommerce

With that in mind the ideal candidate will have the following key skills and experience:

  • 2 year’s working in an office based environment with proven administrative skills
  • Excellent organisational & administrative skills
  • Interest in retail & purchasing
  • High proficiency with Excel
  • Good communication skills with external customers / suppliers
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work at high intensity

Whilst experience in purchasing/ecommerce administration would be advantageous, it isn’t an essential requirement.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Full time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

Salary £22k

Location: Office based
